We had a reasonable weekend, despite Kitty being unwell and Nicky being prone to silliness. On Saturday I took Nicky into town so he could buy presents for Anna and Kitty, thankfully it wasn't too crowded and we finally found something for him to get - although he then promptly forgot it was supposed to be a secret and told Anna what he had bought!
Yesterday was Anna's mum's birthday, so we spent most of the day there, but we stopped off on the way there to take Nicky on a miniature steam train and to see Mother Christmas (Father Christmas is apparently very busy at the moment). We had kept it as a surprise for Nicky and he seemed to really enjoy it.
