Really quite fed up now

If it's not one thing it's another. I've managed to pull muscles in both legs (probably hamstrings), I think from driving to squash and then landing awkwardly. My brother usually drives me but he couldn't make it this week, so I drove myself. My seat is not especially comfortable so I sit on a cushion to get me in the right position, but it's gone a bit flat so I think it's contributed to the pulled muscle. Reading this paragraph back makes me sound so old!

Anyway, I'm going to have to rest my legs for a while, so no cycling or squash for the next week I think. My stomach still isn't quite right, I've finished the antibiotics so I think it's just a muscle strain. Hopefully resting for a week or so will cure all the muscle problems! I don't want to rest too long as I've signed up for a sportive on 31st May which is 108 miles, I could probably do it without too much problem but I want to do it well which will require some training.

We'…

Miserable

I'm still feeling pretty down - 2015 has not been a great year so far. I'm on antibiotics for a stomach bug which I seem to have had since Christmas, I've been to the dentist last week and will probably need to have a root canal on one of my back teeth very soon, and of course I'm still not getting enough sleep! So lack of sleep + ill health means I've not been cycling much, which makes me feel even worse!

Not much else going on to write about. We were hoping to go to Jersey in the summer with the caravan, but have been put off by the costly ferry trip. So we're currently thinking of going to the Isle of Wight instead, the ferry prices are slightly more reasonable!
